All Jersey scenes are inspired not only by their history and character but by the beautiful surroundings. I cannot paint a Jersey scene without delving into its history and finding out more about it. You might find it interesting too.

Rozel was a harbour as early as the 13th century providing natural and safe anchorage. It has historical sites of Le Couperon Barracks and Castel de Rozel either side of the steep sided bay and fishing boats bobbing in the harbour. Very picturesque.
