I have always had great admiration for women who work, bring up a family, sort the finances, multitask galore. The chair and footstool represent industry where they work. She is reflective, head in hand, holding a small heart – that being the love for her family. Is she torn in two, trying to balance everything or is she sitting upright, confident, coping, no problem.
