Built in 1938 atop a north coast cliff, this lighthouse is still used today.

Sorel is dangerous and protective at the same time. Painted white, as is the granite headland that rises from the sea, it warns shipping of the impending rocks. The view of the other Channel Islands from this spot is glorious and on a clear day, amazing.
